The Championship Leader Blog By Super Don

February 20, 2014 2:10 pm

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a good GR7 with your European iTeams and making the most of those SIX transfers! GR7 concludes next week so it’s time to put that on the backburner for a few days, check out what’s going on in the Premier League and make some plans for GW27. Firstly, let’s have a little reminder of happened in GW26, that was one of those tricky midweek GW’s, and this one turned out to be trickier than it first seemed… GW26 So, we had 4 fixtures Tuesday evening: Cardiff vs Aston Villa, Hull vs Southampton, West...

The Champions League is back!

February 14, 2014 12:06 pm

It’s been a while hasn’t it. The last set of fixtures kicked off way back on the 11th December. The first thing you need to do is visit the match centre and make sure you use your 6 free transfers to get rid of players that didn’t reach the last 16. If you planned ahead, you can use some of your transfers to swap players in and out in-between the gameround 7 fixtures. It’s worth bearing in mind that you will receive new transfers for the return legs that start on the 11th March, so make sure you use all...

The Latest Fantasy Football Stats By The FiT Godfather

February 13, 2014 3:20 pm

We have a little break in play whilst the FA Cup and Champions League games take place. It’s the perfect time to supply a few stats, and if you’re clever enough you will make good use of them. The best advice I can give you is to plan ahead. We had 2 postponements in Gameweek 26 that obviously no one could plan for, but we already have 4 teams not playing in Gameweek 28, you know that right? We will also have more fixture changes after the FA Cup games have been played out, so keep your eyes open. Maximising...

Gameweek 26 – Midweek Transfers

February 10, 2014 11:27 am

You may have noticed that the Tuesday and Wednesday night games kick off at different times. The majority of fixtures kick off at 7.45pm, but 2 of them kick off at 8.00pm. You WILL be able to take out players playing in the earlier games for those playing in the later ones, and if you time it correctly you will receive points for all your players. The ideal time to make your transfers is between 7.40pm and 7.45pm. Technically speaking you can make the transfers any time between 7.36pm and 7.49pm. Our in-app transfer clock will let you know how...

Afternoon Ladies, what’s the craic ?? January 31, 2014 12:25 pm

Hi dudes, gameweek 24 is upon us and it’s tight at the top of the FiT world championship. Topping the league is Super Don with 1678 points, that’s an impressive average of 72.9 points per gameweek. In second is the legend James Dash with 1672 points and third is Mark Cowles with 1648. Just check out the trophy cabinets of these 3 FiT veterans ……incredible!! With my top team totalling 1366 points, that’s an average of 59.3 points per week. I have a lot to do in the remaining months. Luis Suarez remains the top points scorer overall. 22 goals...

Easterbrook Shares his FiT Knowledge

January 24, 2014 10:12 am

Hi Everyone Welcome to this week’s blog, since my last blog thing have gone from bad to worse for me, my best team languishing in 1600 place. It’s that time of the season, 16 game weeks to go where we give up on our title dreams, just like United.  I’ve made some shocking decisions this season, none better than putting in Vidic just before he scored his -6 against Chelsea. I had predicted 0-0 for that match and then an easy game against Cardiff in the first round of games this week. I should have listened to Mr Dash and...

Dashman’s Words of Wisdom

January 10, 2014 11:45 am

Hi All Hope you had a fantastic Christmas and a memorable New Year. I also hope the relations didn’t get in the way of the football too much! So we are now more than half way through the season and these are a few things we now know:- Man Utd are not going to win the league. Man Utd will struggle to finish in the top 4. Suarez should be captain every week. Fulham are going to get relegated and/or West Ham. Rotation is rubbish. Holding mid-fielders are pointless in the fantasy world. Kevin Nolan is mental. The FA cup...

Lots of Football, Lots of FiT By Mr Bennables

December 19, 2013 10:47 am

When my nine year old nephew asked me if I wanted a game of football, I took the dubious risk of dusting off my 20 year old Adidas Beckenbauer’s, after doing a couple of strained stretches and one squat, the little bugger shouted at me from his bedroom that he had loaded FIFA on the playstation!…….hmm…. Times have certainly changed….FIT managers of a certain age will remember when, football was played anywhere, anytime with anything, game consoles didn’t register, Ten rules we then used. 1. The fattest one is always the goalkeeper. 2. The kid who owns the ball decides...
