The Latest Fantasy Football Stats By The FiT Godfather

February 13, 2014 3:20 pm

We have a little break in play whilst the FA Cup and Champions League games take place. It’s the perfect time to supply a few stats, and if you’re clever enough you will make good use of them. The best advice I can give you is to plan ahead. We had 2 postponements in Gameweek 26 that obviously no one could plan for, but we already have 4 teams not playing in Gameweek 28, you know that right? We will also have more fixture changes after the FA Cup games have been played out, so keep your eyes open. Maximising...

Gameweek 26 – Midweek Transfers

February 10, 2014 11:27 am

You may have noticed that the Tuesday and Wednesday night games kick off at different times. The majority of fixtures kick off at 7.45pm, but 2 of them kick off at 8.00pm. You WILL be able to take out players playing in the earlier games for those playing in the later ones, and if you time it correctly you will receive points for all your players. The ideal time to make your transfers is between 7.40pm and 7.45pm. Technically speaking you can make the transfers any time between 7.36pm and 7.49pm. Our in-app transfer clock will let you know how...

Tip Top Tips… By Andy Dengate

February 7, 2014 10:21 am

Afternoon Ladies, what’s the craic ?? I never know how to start these things … people either go funny, but I’m not funny, some people do stats, but it never looks good on West Ham, some people give tips, but I’m rubbish at this … I’m just pretty, all I have are my good looks !! Last Game Week So we kicked off with bottom-at-Christmas Sunderland away to Newcastle for the derby. Sunderland continued their new found form smashing them 3-0 The Mighty Hammers sunk the swans with 2 goals from Super Kevin Nolan & 2 assists from Super Andy Carroll …...

It’s Tight at the Top by Gregg Livingstone

January 31, 2014 12:25 pm

Hi dudes, gameweek 24 is upon us and it’s tight at the top of the FiT world championship. Topping the league is Super Don with 1678 points, that’s an impressive average of 72.9 points per gameweek. In second is the legend James Dash with 1672 points and third is Mark Cowles with 1648. Just check out the trophy cabinets of these 3 FiT veterans ……incredible!! With my top team totalling 1366 points, that’s an average of 59.3 points per week. I have a lot to do in the remaining months. Luis Suarez remains the top points scorer overall. 22 goals...

Easterbrook Shares his FiT Knowledge

January 24, 2014 10:12 am

Hi Everyone Welcome to this week’s blog, since my last blog thing have gone from bad to worse for me, my best team languishing in 1600 place. It’s that time of the season, 16 game weeks to go where we give up on our title dreams, just like United.  I’ve made some shocking decisions this season, none better than putting in Vidic just before he scored his -6 against Chelsea. I had predicted 0-0 for that match and then an easy game against Cardiff in the first round of games this week. I should have listened to Mr Dash and...

Dashman’s Words of Wisdom

January 10, 2014 11:45 am

Hi All Hope you had a fantastic Christmas and a memorable New Year. I also hope the relations didn’t get in the way of the football too much! So we are now more than half way through the season and these are a few things we now know:- Man Utd are not going to win the league. Man Utd will struggle to finish in the top 4. Suarez should be captain every week. Fulham are going to get relegated and/or West Ham. Rotation is rubbish. Holding mid-fielders are pointless in the fantasy world. Kevin Nolan is mental. The FA cup...

Lots of Football, Lots of FiT By Mr Bennables

December 19, 2013 10:47 am

When my nine year old nephew asked me if I wanted a game of football, I took the dubious risk of dusting off my 20 year old Adidas Beckenbauer’s, after doing a couple of strained stretches and one squat, the little bugger shouted at me from his bedroom that he had loaded FIFA on the playstation!…….hmm…. Times have certainly changed….FIT managers of a certain age will remember when, football was played anywhere, anytime with anything, game consoles didn’t register, Ten rules we then used. 1. The fattest one is always the goalkeeper. 2. The kid who owns the ball decides...

FiT Bargain Hunter By Tom Kurvits

December 12, 2013 11:01 am

After some interesting results in GameWeek 15, I thought I’d take a look at some potential bargains for you to make up your FiT 11 with. A lot of us are struggling for funds after bringing in the big guns. Everton I think everyone is slightly surprised at how well Everton are doing at the moment. I expected Arsenal to beat them on Sunday afternoon, but the toffees seem to look a better proposition every week. It’s an obvious one here but Ross Barkley is pretty good, eh? Roberto Martinez is promising to give him more games too, so I...

Champions League: GR6

December 9, 2013 2:17 pm

Who needs to win? This is going to be a tricky round for most of us. Rest and rotation will play havoc with our iTeam’s. We’re all in the same boat, so don’t despair. There are still some big teams that require a win to ensure qualification… In Group A, Leverkusen need only better Shakhtar Donetsk’s result against Manchester United to book their place in the knockout stage. Manchester United have qualified but still require 1 more point to ensure they top the group. Moyes will want a morale boosting performance, so I expect to see a strong Man Utd...
