Rob Wright brings EPL focus back after the break

September 13, 2012 1:00 pm

Wow! What a first month we have had on FiT EPL 12/13. There have a been a few great scores from players you might not expect, for example, Ivanovic, Dyer, McAuley and Jenkinson have all scored well. Hazard and Tevez are second and third in the points table but it’s the virtually unknown Michu stealing all the headlines. Well done to anybody that got him right from the beginning, he has been the FiT stand-out player this month, scoring a massive 33 points in just 3 games. Also his team-mates in the Swansea defence and midfield have been bang on form, so it’s been a good...

FiT Guide – Manager Reputations

August 31, 2012 8:58 am

Manager reputations in FiT is something a lot of people ask us about on a regular basis.  This season we have tried to make the process of increasing your reputation a little clearer and have also added incentives to make it more rewarding for you to level up. Every iTeam Manager has their own reputation rating, which is reset each season. This reputation rating is meant to be a reflection of your proficiency at managing your iTeam and also of being part of the FiT community. There are a number of ways in which you can increase your reputation throughout...

FiT Blog – Gameweek 2/3 – Super Don

August 30, 2012 4:17 pm

This weeks blog has been written by Don Burrows, otherwise known as Super Don.  He is an established FiT Manager & Coach and his trophy cabinet speaks for itself.  Don is also the Chairman of the UK Mini League. Hazard, Torres, Tevez, Michu and Fellaini… They all carried on where they left off in gameweek 1 by scoring good points again in gameweek 2, as did the cheap and reliable Swansea defence, this Fantasy iTeam management is suddenly looking a bit too easy, especially when we’ve been blessed with an fixture list which as seen “the big four” all having...

FiT Guide – Transfers & iTeam Selection

August 24, 2012 8:53 am

A massively important part of FiT to get your head around is transfers and iTeam selection, as FiT is different from any other Fantasy Football game out there.  If you use your transfers wisely you will have 14 points scoring players playing each GW. 1. You get 2 transfers each week, with the option to buy a 3rd using 100 FiT Credits. 2. IMPORTANT – you can make changes to your iTeam in between fixtures.  As long as the player is in your iTeam lineup 10 mins before a game kicks off you will get his points.  For example, you...

FiT Blog – Gameweek 1 – Alan Davey

August 23, 2012 4:30 pm

What a week, great to see the football back. All the preparation that went into all our iTeams and for a lot of us it all went a bit wrong. If you did have a bad start remember, this is a marathon not a sprint. Excluding Chelsea players due to the fact they played 2 games in GW 1, the highest points were scored from some real bargains. Michu was the highest scoring midfielder in La Liga last season and started his EPL career with 2 goals and an assist. Petric, so prolific pre-season, took that form into his first...

FiT Guide – Prizes & Competitions

August 23, 2012 9:23 am

The next aspect of FiT we wanted to explain is Prizes and Competitions.  We have a host of great prizes on offer this year, and which one’s are available to you depend on your age and location.  More information can be found on the Competition page itself (press on the banner to see more info) and also in the Help section. There are also a host of great user run competitions, with a variety of unique features.  Remember though, you can only join one Mini League per iTeam. The main FiT competitions are split into 2 sections – 1. UK...

FiT Guide – Head-to-Head (H2H)

August 22, 2012 9:28 am

In continuation of our help for new users, the next feature we are going to try our best to explain is the unique H2H (Head-to-Head) feature. There are two types of H2H matches that each iTeam can take part in each Gameweek.  We have H2H Challenges and Bonus H2H. H2H Challenge ——————————-This is where one iTeam challenges another for a set wager, the winner is the iTeam who scores the most points in the specified Gameweek.  For example, if iTeam A challenges iTeam B for a 100k wager in GW1, both iTeams will have £100k put into their allocation bank...

FiT Guide – Gameweeks (GW)

August 21, 2012 1:58 pm

We have a host of new users this season on FiT, and throughout the next week or so we are going to try and highlight some of the main features of FiT and try and answer some of the most common questions we receive through our support section. The first thing to explain is Gameweeks (GW). A GW is a little different to a normal calendar week, it is a block of fixtures where most Premiership teams will play at least one match.  You can see what fixtures are in each GW by visiting the Match Centre, at the top...

Tips and Advice from James Dash, FiT Coach and FiT World Champion 11/12

August 17, 2012 8:23 am

Well the season is about to start and I for one can’t wait. As managers, this is the time we should be tinkering with our iTeams and creating new ones. This year, I believe it will much trickier to win the whole thing or even get a top 100 finish, due to the fact that most of the top fantasy managers have loads of iTeams. Last year most, including myself, started with just the one. This app is so addictive that having more iTeams just increases the fun and the frustration! Pre-season is therefore a much busier time for us...
