EPL Manager of The Week: Gameweek 11

November 11, 2013 4:16 pm

What a tough week… Sunday wasn’t the best day for most of us. Our Betfred Manager of the Week, A V B, scored the majority of his points on Saturday. His iTeam, FC * 20, managed to break the 100 point barrier. 101 was enough to secure the win. Remarkably his team only scored 4 goals and created just 4 assists. What is even more remarkable, is the fact that A V B only joined FiT this week. Not a bad first GW. Very well done.

7 teams kept clean sheets in GW11. At least 3 of those were a shock. A V B went with a full Everton defence, with Guzan in net. Those 35 defensive points were crucial.

In Midfield the only player to register attacking points was the in-form Adam Lallana. It’s definitely bandwagon time. Decent points scoring midfielders are hard to come by at the moment.

Up front A V B correctly ignored the likes of Soldado. He went with Lambert, Benteke, Negredo, Aguero and Suarez. Handing the armband to Suarez was the best decision he could have made. He now has 8 goals and 3 assists in just 6 games. Poor Sturridge has failed to register attacking points in the last 2 games.

Well done. We will be in touch soon to see what Club Shirt you want.

The GW11 Under 18 and Rest of the World winner was Salim Al-Ateeqi. His iTeam ‘SalamookoFC’ scored a massive 98 points. Nice one.

Howard and Baines were the only defenders to register some defensive points. Salim went with Hazard ( dodgy penalty ) and Lallana. He also captained Suarez and received more attacking points from Remy, Rooney and Lambert.

Very well played. Enjoy your new Club Shirt.

Suarez and Aguero were the runaway leaders in our GW11 captain poll. The majority of you got it spot on again. 30% of you must have been gutted. How disappointing are City away from home?

Good luck to all of you in GW12. Enjoy the international break. We’re in for a busy 6 weeks when the EPL returns.
