EPL Manager of The Week: Gameweek 9

October 28, 2013 3:16 pm

Another high scoring GW. You needed at least 99 points to make the top 100. It was Paul Reed who secured the GW9 Betfred Manager of the Week. 115 points was enough for Paul’s iTeam ‘Pang United’ to win. Congratulations.

Normal service resumed for Southampton. Boruc managed his 6th shut out of the season. Paul also received clean sheet bonuses for Shaw, Vertonghen and Mertesacker.

Midfielders struggled this week. Only 5 midfielders managed to score. 2 of them came off the bench and another got himself sent off. Ben Arfa and Ramsey contributed to Paul’s points total with an assist apiece.

Paul’s strong forward line scored a ridiculous 68 points between them. Lukaku, Giroud, Rooney and even Torres hit the back of the net. It was Paul’s inspired captain choice, Suarez, that won him the week. 34 points and he’s now scored 6 in just 4 games.

Well done. We will be in touch soon to see what Club Shirt you want.

The GW9 Under 18 and Rest of the World winner was Joshua Rodrigues. His iTeam ‘Real Madrid C.F.’ scored a massive 112 points. Nice one.

A very solid defence that included 4 Southampton players, scored Joshua 45 points. Joshua also had Ben Arfa and Ramsey in his iTeam. Soldado, Lukaku, Sturridge and Suarez (captain) did the rest of the work.

Very well played. Enjoy you’re new Club Shirt, you deserved it.

Suarez (30.5%), Ozil (14.8%), Giroud (15.6%), were the leaders in our GW9 captain poll. Ozil was a real let down.

Good luck to all of you in GW10. Remember, it’s bonus transfer week…
