May 12, 2016 1:56 pm

For the first time, the European Championship final tournament will be contested by 24 teams, with France and Romania kicking off the tournament in Paris on Friday 10 June at 8pm.

We will publish provisional squads and player values in-app this weekend, with the likes of Manuel Neuer (£6.2m), Gerard Pique (£6.4m), Paul Pogba (£7.0m) and Cristiano Ronaldo (£8.4m) all available for selection.

You don’t need to download another app, but depending on what version of the FiT app you’re using, you may need to update it. And you won’t lose any FiT credits that you’ve earned or bought – they can be used during the Euro 2016 tournament to create additional teams and to make additional transfers.

There are so many exciting group games to look forward to, including:

Belgium vs Italy: Monday 13 June at 8pm

England vs Wales: Thursday 16 June at 2pm

Northern Ireland vs Germany: Tuesday 21 June at 5pm

Italy vs Republic of Ireland: Wednesday 22 June at 8pm

As always, your challenge will be to pick the best iTeam based on your knowledge of the sport, then to score as many points as possible over the course of the seven-round tournament.

The most important aspect of the Mirror Fantasy iTeam game is the transfer system, and each Gameround you’ll receive 3 free to use, plus, for a short time, unlimited transfers after the conclusion of the group stage.

We will let you know as soon the Euro 2016 squads are ready to be released, then it’s just a matter of following the in-app instructions to create your free team. And don’t worry about making final choices just yet because you will have unlimited free transfers until the tournament starts – giving you plenty of time to tinker.

Finally, make sure to follow Fantasy iTeam on Facebook and Twitter.
