Super Don’s GW35 Predictions

April 17, 2014 9:53 am

Hello everyone! So after weeks and weeks of begging, those lovely people at Fantasy iTeam have finally weakened and let me loose on the Fit Blog again. I’ve dug out a few fantasy stats from the past 4 gameweeks, and added a bit of info that might help you make the most of the remaining 4 gameweeks of the season, I hope you enjoy the read. Firstly, I’m bucking the trend on reviewing the previous gameweeks results, mainly because as I write this there’s still a few fixtures of it remaining, and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s more important to...

Ben Randall – The Record Breaking Gameweek

March 27, 2014 12:18 pm

A double gameweek always meant there would be goals but to expect this many was beyond anyone’s prediction! Chelsea Vs Arsenal;- 6-0 The gameweek started off with Arsene Wenger celebrating his 1000th game in charge of the gunners, but the special one had plans to make this day not so great for Wenger. After their easy victory against the Turkish side Galatasary, Chelsea were still on a high and going 2 nil up inside just 10 minutes at Stamford Bridge things couldn’t have got any better.. surely? It wouldn’t be a Chelsea Vs Arsenal game without some sort of controversy...

Ben’s Bargains – £75m Well Spent!

March 20, 2014 3:18 pm

Gameweek 31, quite possibly the most exciting and potentially frustrating GW this season. Now unfortunately I can’t give you a huge list of players to bring in, because if you have not started preparing by now, your Gameweek 31 could be a poor one! All is not lost however! Unlike some double game weeks there is still chance to buy ‘DGW’ (double gameweek) players during the actual game week. We can either sell Chelsea players for: Liverpool, Everton, Swansea, Hull, Man City, Newcastle, Sunderland. In addition, we can also sell players from the 3 o’clock game to buy Man United or...

The Biggest Gameweek Ever!!!

March 6, 2014 4:48 pm

Obviously I’m not talking about this week, as we only have 5 games to look forward to and we don’t have a single EPL game to watch on Sunday. The upside of all this is the fact we have the biggest gameweek ever coming up – check out GW31! The following teams will play twice: Manchester UnitedManchester CityArsenal LiverpoolEvertonSwanseaHull SunderlandNewcastleWest Ham So why am I talking about GW31 when we’re only in GW29? The answer is we need to prepare, and we need to start NOW! GW29 Strategy How many of us own 2-3 Tottenham players? If you do, you’re...

A Look at Gameweek 28 By Rob Wright

February 28, 2014 11:35 am

Well that was the week that was…. The top 4 have taken a big step towards confirming who will be in the Champions League next season; Spurs, Everton and Man Utd will still have hopes of catching them but it seems unlikely now. So the question is which one will end up top of the pile. I said Chelsea at the beginning of the season and the moment there’s nothing to change my mind. Over the next couple of weeks they have the chance to pull away with Man City and Arsenal missing games due to cup commitments, them and...

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a good GR7 with your European iTeams and making the most of those SIX transfers! GR7 concludes next week so it’s time to put that on the backburner for a few days, check out what’s going on in the Premier League and make some plans for GW27. Firstly, let’s have a little reminder of happened in GW26, that was one of those tricky midweek GW’s, and this one turned out to be trickier than it first seemed… GW26 So, we had 4 fixtures Tuesday evening: Cardiff vs Aston Villa, Hull vs Southampton, West...

The Latest Fantasy Football Stats By The FiT Godfather

February 13, 2014 3:20 pm

We have a little break in play whilst the FA Cup and Champions League games take place. It’s the perfect time to supply a few stats, and if you’re clever enough you will make good use of them. The best advice I can give you is to plan ahead. We had 2 postponements in Gameweek 26 that obviously no one could plan for, but we already have 4 teams not playing in Gameweek 28, you know that right? We will also have more fixture changes after the FA Cup games have been played out, so keep your eyes open. Maximising...

Gameweek 26 – Midweek Transfers

February 10, 2014 11:27 am

You may have noticed that the Tuesday and Wednesday night games kick off at different times. The majority of fixtures kick off at 7.45pm, but 2 of them kick off at 8.00pm. You WILL be able to take out players playing in the earlier games for those playing in the later ones, and if you time it correctly you will receive points for all your players. The ideal time to make your transfers is between 7.40pm and 7.45pm. Technically speaking you can make the transfers any time between 7.36pm and 7.49pm. Our in-app transfer clock will let you know how...

Afternoon Ladies, what’s the craic ?? Easterbrook Shares his FiT Knowledge

January 24, 2014 10:12 am

Hi Everyone Welcome to this week’s blog, since my last blog thing have gone from bad to worse for me, my best team languishing in 1600 place. It’s that time of the season, 16 game weeks to go where we give up on our title dreams, just like United.  I’ve made some shocking decisions this season, none better than putting in Vidic just before he scored his -6 against Chelsea. I had predicted 0-0 for that match and then an easy game against Cardiff in the first round of games this week. I should have listened to Mr Dash and...
