Matthew Williams GW 13 Preview

November 27, 2014 10:05 am Stoke Celebrate

A third of the way into this season and it looks like Chelsea have got the league wrapped up already thanks to the inconsistency of the likes of Man City and Arsenal, two teams who you would of expected to at least challenge. Liverpool have fallen apart, Spurs are nowhere to be seen and Man Utd can’t defend for toffee, although there are signs of improvement there, you feel it would be too late for them to mount a challenge. Things are looking quite different at the bottom end of the table with just 5 points between West Brom in...

Gregg’s Gameweek 12 Preview

November 20, 2014 10:23 am

Gameweek 12 is almost upon us and with nearly a third of the season gone it’s been an interesting season thus far. Chelsea remain top with surprise package Southampton just behind them. Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton, Liverpool and Spurs have all been underachieving and the 3 newly promoted teams occupy the relegation zone. Needless to say, I’m doing terribly again. My highest scoring team has a mediocre 570 points. My reason for doing so badly is my ability to pick a captain who can’t do anything. It really is a gift. Since Luis Suarez left for pastures new, I’m at...

Captain Dan looks at GW11

November 6, 2014 11:18 am

Hey all you FIT addicts, I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous about anything before – this is my first ever blog, so I hope you all enjoy it. What a gameweek it was in GW10, some teams were good, some were OK, and some were really bad. But I had the best end to a horrible Saturday’s football for most of my teams – the birth of my second daughter 🙂 born at 9:10pm. But let’s not look back, it’s all about gameweek 11. The hardest choice for us fantasy mangers is who to pick as captain, as...

The Bargain Hunter – Rob Wright

October 30, 2014 10:21 am

Week 10 already…… it only seems like yesterday that we were all tinkering with our teams and saying how confident we were that this was our year to take down James Dash. Well I’m not sure how many of you are still felling the same, but I am certainly not one of them. This year, more than any other, seems to be very hard to predict in terms of who will score points and against which teams. Like my beloved Spurs team, I’m calling this another “transitional” year. On the plus side there has been some bright lights this year,...

Meadows Mulls Over GW9

October 23, 2014 10:08 am

It’s that time of the season now when the players you’ve lost faith with and taken out of your team – start to score… the time of season when your captain finally scores big points… but everyone has him. It’s that time of the season when you celebrate a midfielder who scores a goal AND has FOUR assists… then you check your iTeam and find out you don’t actually own him.   Tadic… 20 points… I was sure he was in all my iTeams but when I checked it seems I sold him in the third gameweek!! Admin, can you...

The EPL is back- Liam Whitlock

October 16, 2014 9:41 am

So with the international break at an end we very much welcome The Barclays Premier League back. Enough of discussing about Rooney and Sterling and more focusing what happens on the pitch in the ten Premier League games this gameweek has to offer. SATURDAY Manchester City vs Tottenham We start with Manchester City vs Tottenham. Almost 11 months ago Spurs lost 6-0 at The Etihad to pile pressure on then boss Andre Villas Boas. This is a game again I’d expect Man City to win. With Sergio Aguero’s (10.6M) 5 goals in 5 Premier League starts for City, he looks...

Darren Friend’s Alternative Captain Picks

October 2, 2014 10:10 am

Well, what a gameweek it was last week! Two score draw derby’s, a fantastic free kick by Gerrard and a jager bomb by jagielka (you like what I did there). Then there’s Rooneys red card – he will now sit out the next 3 games against Everton, West brom and Chelsea. Many of you, like me, may have been looking to captain Rooney in this weekends game against Everton. I’m going to give you managers some other players to ponder over, excluding the likes of Mr Costa and Mr Aguero. Pick one Graziano Pellé Becoming increasingly popular among Fantasy iTeam...

Ben Worrall looks ahead at Gameweek 5

September 17, 2014 9:12 pm

Hello All, Instead of dwelling on last weekends action and tell you what has already happened, I will focus on this upcoming gameweek, with my preview of gameweek 5. QPR vs Stoke: This weeks early kick off sees QPR entertain Stoke. From a fantasy football perspective, both teams don’t offer much potential, but, Mame Biram Diouf has looked lively in his first few games for Stoke and he scored the winner against Man City in gameweek 3. He could well be a bargain at £5.8m, especially considering Stoke have some favourable fixtures coming up in the next few gameweeks, as...

FiT Guide – Transfers & iTeam Selection

August 4, 2014 8:10 pm

A massively important part of FiT to get your head around is transfers and iTeam selection, as FiT is different from any other Fantasy Football game out there. If you use your transfers wisely you will have at least 13 point scoring players playing each GW. 1. You get 2 transfers each round, with the option to buy a 3rd using 100 FiT Credits. 2. IMPORTANT – you can make changes to your iTeam in between fixtures. As long as the player is in your iTeam lineup 10 mins before a game kicks off you will get his points. For...

Gameround 4 Review: All 8 Group Winners Progress!

July 2, 2014 12:07 pm

The favourites all went through, but boy, some of them made it very difficult for themselves. We have 2 days of rest before the first of 4 cracking games kicks off. THE WINNERS A huge well done to all our FiT Prize winners. Drew Preece is our GR4 World Champion, very well played. 99 points was a massive score, and he just beat Artur Milewski on goals scored, as points were tied. Before Belgium kicked off, Drew couldn’t have dreamed of winning – but a super substitute performance from Lukaku and a composed assist and finish from De Bruyne, propelled...
