EPL Credit Competition Winners: Gameweek 11

November 11, 2013 4:43 pm

A much tougher GW. You only needed 78 points to place in this weeks Credit Comp Pro. Fleece us all Preece was the main man again. His iTeam ‘LFC MINTY’, had a very good week. Robert won the ‘Comp Challenge’ and the ‘Comp Pro’. He walks away with over 11,000 F/c. You and Super Don could start your own bank… Nice work. Rob ‘Runner Up’ Wright secured a credit haul of just over 6,000 F/c. Our other winners were Daniel McCarthy, Pete Bland, James Sweeney and Sean Pomfret. Well done to all of you. The GW12 Credit Comps are now up and...

EPL Manager of The Week: Gameweek 11

November 11, 2013 4:16 pm

What a tough week… Sunday wasn’t the best day for most of us. Our Betfred Manager of the Week, A V B, scored the majority of his points on Saturday. His iTeam, FC * 20, managed to break the 100 point barrier. 101 was enough to secure the win. Remarkably his team only scored 4 goals and created just 4 assists. What is even more remarkable, is the fact that A V B only joined FiT this week. Not a bad first GW. Very well done. 7 teams kept clean sheets in GW11. At least 3 of those were a...

EPL Credit Competition Winners: Gameweek 10

The points keep coming… Goalkeepers are scoring, defenders are having a turn in net, it’s all happening… You needed at least 96 points to place in this weeks Credit Comps. Super ‘I’m sooo Rich’ Don was the main man. His iTeam ‘Tragic Sparrows’, had a seriously good week. Don won the ‘Comp Challenge’ and finished runner up in the ‘Comp Pro’. He walks away with over 8,500 F/c. Nice work. Jonas Holtenius was our GW10 F/c Comp Pro winner with a massive score of 118 points. If only you had entered the other comp as well… Poor Jonas lost out on the...

EPL Manager of The Week: Gameweek 10

November 4, 2013 2:46 pm

Another gameweek comes and goes. It was another high scoring one and was won by David Young. 115 points was enough for David’s iTeam ‘SUPER VILLA’ to secure the GW10 Betfred Manager of the Week. Congratulations. 10 different teams managed to keep clean sheets over the weekend. David relied upon Hugo ‘I’m not going off’ Lloris, Demel, Baines, Walker and Zabaleta. None of them let him down. David’s midfield wasn’t actually that strong. Cazorla and Januzaj were the only players to score him some attacking points. With this forward line who needs a midfield… David used his extra transfer wisely...

Are You Ready For GW10? By Andy Dengate

October 31, 2013 3:35 pm

Hey you guys, I’ve just moved house & went to B&Q to stock up on coal & shizzle for my open fire (never had one before, little bit excited) and I’ve realised something … you don’t look at the mantel piece while poking the fire!! Let’s look at last week’s games… Palace losing to Arsenal was expected, Szczesny survives another week in my iTeam after only claiming his second clean sheet of the season. Giroud scores his 5th goal showing why his value is rising. Everton keeping a clean sheet after Benteke missing a penalty & Howard scoring an impressive...

EPL Manager of The Week: Gameweek 9

October 28, 2013 3:16 pm

Another high scoring GW. You needed at least 99 points to make the top 100. It was Paul Reed who secured the GW9 Betfred Manager of the Week. 115 points was enough for Paul’s iTeam ‘Pang United’ to win. Congratulations. Normal service resumed for Southampton. Boruc managed his 6th shut out of the season. Paul also received clean sheet bonuses for Shaw, Vertonghen and Mertesacker. Midfielders struggled this week. Only 5 midfielders managed to score. 2 of them came off the bench and another got himself sent off. Ben Arfa and Ramsey contributed to Paul’s points total with an assist...

EPL Credit Competition Winners: Gameweek 9

Another decent gameweek. Plenty of clean sheets, but plenty of goals as well. You needed at least 100 points to place in this weeks Credit Comps. Scary scores. Damien Davidson was the main man. His iTeam ‘Up and at em’, had a seriously good week. Winning both the ‘Comp Challenge’ and the ‘Comp Pro’, Damien walks away with over 10,000 F/c. Nice work. Colin Morton, Ben England, Super Don and Andy Wilson all profited in the Comp Challenge. In the Pro Challenge we had a few different winners. Kev Stevenson, Steve Kirkham and Konrad Bartczak helped make up the top 5....

Gameweek 9 Preview By Richard Easterbrook

October 24, 2013 4:45 pm

I love the description on the FantasyIteam blog “written by our Fantasy Football experts”. It brings a smile to my face, then a quick switch to the app and reality hits home as I look at my ever faltering teams. But all is not lost! It’s only game week nine! Ok, so I’d started game week one with a team in the top 30, 2 in the top 50, granted at this point my best team is only in 578th place but I have a plan! A plan I will share and maybe make you all think a little outside...

EPL Manager of The Week: Gameweek 8

October 24, 2013 2:05 pm

That was a fun week… Only 3 points separated the top 5. It was Kevin Chew who secured the GW8 Betfred Manager of the Week. 120 points was enough for Kevin’s iTeam ‘Sword Fighters F.C’ to win. Congratulations. It was a tough week for defenders and clean sheets were hard to come by. Even the mighty Southampton conceded. Kevin picked up defensive points from Dawson, Walker and Chico. 24 points between them wasn’t a bad haul. There were some very strong midfield performances in GW8. Kevin didn’t need Ozil, Cabaye, Ruiz or Silva. He went with Hazard, Mirallas, Gerrard, Ramsey...

EPL Credit Competition Winners: Gameweek 8

It was a very high scoring gameweek. You needed at least 94 points to place in the Credit Comps. Our first ever Free Entry Comp had 5,000 iTeam’s competing for the 5 top prizes. Steve Samurai and his iTeam ‘Seymour Flange’ came out on top… Steve also decided to pay into the GW8 F/c Comp Challenge. A 50 F/c entry fee was turned into 9160 F/c. Combined winnings of just over 11,500 credits. Very well played. Robert Preece, Keiran Murphy, Malc Turner, Alan Davey, Stephen Bennett and Eoghan Collins, all placed in either the FreeĀ  Entry or the Comp Challenge. Well done to...
